The Knight Digital Media Center will host a free, four-hour training designed for budding Bay Area bloggers – who’ve been at it for at least three months – and are interested in boosting their multimedia skills in order to strengthen blog content and increase site traffic. This half-day, hands-on training will show participants how using some simple but powerful tools and techniques can help them create compelling sites and capture more audience attention.
The Blogger Workshop will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2009, 10am-2:30pm.

Attendance is free. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Registration is limited to 30 and is first-come, first-serve.
To register: send an email to kdmcinfo at journalism.berkeley.edu with your name, your blog’s domain name, and a note indicating which sessions you are interested in during each time slot.
*Note: Mac computers will be provided for sessions held in the school of journalism news labs. Participants must bring their own laptops for sessions held in the library. Be sure your battery is charged in case there is not an electrical outlet near your seat.
