Free Online Training Series in Data Journalism

Free and easy--two words we love to hear.

We are excited to announce that we are now making it easier than ever for you to learn data visualization skills by bringing our world class digital training straight to you. And, yep, it’s FREE.

With the support of a grant from the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation we will be offering four online sessions at no cost to you. These are not lengthy online lectures. They are short, focused hour-long interactive trainings. You will click, select and type right along with the presenter. You can also post questions in real time.

These trainings are open to anyone, but space is limited. There are only 200 spots per session. Due to heavy demand, we are opening registration on February 18, first come, first serve. The good news is that we offer each session twice--at 10 AM and 1 PM.

We will post registration information on Monday, February 18, 8AM PST. It will be available on our website, as well as our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages. Follow kdmcBerkeley to keep updated.

Each session will be led in real time by kdmcBerkeley's Interactive Design and Data Instructor Len De Groot. For more details, check out the kdmcBerkeley website.
