About Abraha Abadi

ABADI, ABRAHA is the editor of Ethiomedia.com, a website covering issues related to Ethiopian Americans. He oversees a range of activities--from gathering news and information to editing and formatting the materials online. Ethiomedia attracts about 45,000 hits each day and is very popular among Ethiopians worldwide. Abraha is a native of Ethiopia, and was an Alfred Friendly Press fellow in 1995, during which time he was an intern at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in Pittsburgh, PA. He launched Ethiomedia in 2002 from his home in Everett, Washington, where he lives to this day. Abraha enjoys walking, music and socializing.
