BOOTH, KWAN is a writer, editor, social media consultant and cultural curator based in Oakland, CA. He’s the Senior Producer for the hyperlocal news site Oakland Local and in the past he’s held editorial positions at organizations including TheOakbook.com, Broadband Network 3, NotforTourists.com, 10best.com and the Oakland Post. He’s lectured and led workshops on social media, media diversity and creative writing for organizations including the Knight Digital Media Center, the Center for the Integration and Improvement of Journalism, Netsquared and The Chrysler Museum of Art.
