About Claude Peck

PECK, CLAUDE is senior editor of arts and interactive at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis. He manages the daily paper's coverage of theater, classical music, dance, architecture and books. He also co-writes a column of "unasked-for advice" called Withering Glance, which appears in print each Sunday and also has a weekly podcast. The "interactive" in his title refers to his work as newsroom liaison between all the features sections and the paper's website (startribune.com). He started at the Star Tribune 10 years ago as metro editor. Before that he was editor of an alternative weekly newspaper, the Twin Cities Reader, and executive editor of a city monthly magazine, Mpls.St.Paul. He hosted a public-radio show for a number of years, and was a fellow (2005) in the National Arts Journalism Program at Columbia University. He lives in Minneapolis, has no dogs and four bicycles.
