About Colleen Cason

CASON, COLLEEN has written a general-interest column for the Ventura County Star since 1997. Prior to that, she founded the paper's entertainment section Time Out. She also has worked as a features reporter at several southern California newspapers. Cason was chosen for the first group of reporters at the Star to undergo multimedia training. Since then she has produced several pieces for VenturaCountyStar.com, trying to create an online blending of column and multimedia presentation.
