About Courtney Sebesta
Courtney Sebesta is an online content producer for www.statesman.com, the Web site for the Austin American-Statesman, a 185,000 daily, 215,000 Sunday circulation newspaper covering Austin and Central Texas. Her responsibilities include editing local news, business and sports site content, posting breaking news and working with various types of multimedia. Sebesta is a native Texan and graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She worked for Texas Monthly while in college and began her career with the Statesman as an editorial assistant after graduation. Before she was a content producer, Sebesta supervised the editorial assistant team and was a systems editor, overseeing the newspaper’s pagination system. She is passionate about traveling and recently went to Costa Rica in September. She is currently planning a trip to Hawaii in April. She also enjoys reading the New Yorker and Rolling Stone and is obsessed with music.
