About Jena Moreno
Jenalia Moreno is the international business reporter at the Houston Chronicle, which has a daily circulation of more than 500,000. She covers the Houston Hispanic business community, international trade and Latin American economics. She writes about Houston's large immigrant entrepreneurial sector and Houston's global presence. Moreno is native Houstonian and she graduated from the University of Houston with a major in journalism and a minor in anthropology. For two years, she served as the Latin America business correspondent based in Mexico City. In addition to working at the Chronicle, she did brief stints at the Brownsville Herald, Conroe Courier and Washington Post. She enjoys reading, traveling, snorkeling and spending time with family. She and her husband recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary in Turkey.
