About Lynn Walsh

WALSH, LYNN is an investigative video journalist at Texas Watchdog, a non-profit news website in Texas. A graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Walsh primarily focuses her investigative pieces on the Houston Independent School District, the seventh-largest school system in the country.  Walsh began her career as a reporter for The Government Channel in Athens, Ohio where she covered city and county issues for the citizens and students living in Athens County. Walsh has also put time in at several other media organizations including the website palestra.net, Ohio Watchdog, The Buckeye Institute and WSYX/WTTE, all located in Columbus, Ohio, WRGT/WKEF in Dayton, Ohio, WMAR in Baltimore, and The Today Show in New York City. Walsh is an active member of Radio Television Digital News Association and Investigative Reporters and Editors and serves as the Chair for the Society of Professional Journalists’ Generation J Committee. Walsh loves concerts, warm weather and anything related to social media.
