About Marty Durlin
DURLIN, MARTY is online editor for the nonprofit High Country News, a 25,000 circulation bi-weekly magazine that reports on the West’s natural resources, public lands and changing communities. Her responsibilities include posting print content to the website, promoting website traffic, writing a weekly e-newsletter, working with staff and freelancers to produce material for the web, managing and contributing to the editors’ blog, and producing multimedia. Durlin is a native of Western Colorado, and previously managed noncommercial radio station KGNU Boulder/Denver for 20 years. She is also a playwright and musician. Durlin is a graduate of Colorado Women’s College, and attended Wesleyan University where she studied music and writing.
