About Ingrid Lobet

LOBET, INGRID is western bureau chief in a one-person bureau for “Living On Earth”, the environment program on public radio (PRI). She reports on energy, environmental health, air, climate change and other kinds of change on western landscapes. She has also reported from 11 countries. Lobet edits stories submitted by freelancers, serving as the show’s western editor. Places of more than passing residence include New York, Seattle, Portland (OR) y El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de Los Angeles, where she is raising a child as he moves from Lego to, well, Lego. She loves visualizations, especially the variety formerly known as maps. She also loves other geeky things such as stories with data and science, but not to the exclusion of people, saying things the way they really say them. Best of all she loves investigations. She needs to know you better to tell her hobbies.
