About Ashlee Clark

CLARK, ASHLEE is the Richmond bureau reporter at the Lexington Herald-Leader, a 105,000-circulation paper that covers central and eastern Kentucky. She is responsible for covering general assignments in seven central Kentucky counties. Clark was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She received her bachelor's degree in news/editorial journalism and sociology from Western Kentucky University. Before joining the Herald-Leader staff in 2007, Clark completed internships at the Evansville Courier & Press, IN, the Herald-Leader, the St. Petersburg Times, FL, and the Washington Post. In her free time, Clark volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also enjoys knitting, reading and traveling.
