After many years in print media, Adrienne saw the internet as an opportunity to create an interactive news delivery service that operates like a town square, where readers can share information, express opinions, buy products and services from local merchants, and learn about news soon after the news has happened. She named the website GazeboNews because four of the towns she has lived in have gazebos in their town squares.
