About Alec Rosenberg

ROSENBERG, ALEC is content coordinator for the University of California, Office of the President. His responsibilities include overseeing UC Newsroom, the university's systemwide online news site, and writing and editing content for a variety of publications. A native of San Francisco, Rosenberg has a bachelor's degree in social science from UC Berkeley and a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. His first newspaper job was as a reporter at the Imperial Valley Press in El Centro, CA, where he wrote about agriculture and water. After covering Fremont City Hall for The Argus, he joined the Oakland Tribune, where he was a business reporter and then an editor.
