About Tiffany Black
TIFFANY BLACK began her work at The Philadelphia Inquirer as a Knight Ridder Specialty Development Intern and went on to become an online news editor responsible for maintaining and developing the morning edition of the Web site and producing special projects. In the summer of 2002, Tiffany traveled to South Africa where she worked as a content producer for A Living State, in Grahamstown, producing multimedia packages about Living Positively with HIV/AIDS. She spent the summer of 2001 as an intern at Dow Jones Online and has also worked on the Web sites of The News & Observer in Raleigh, NC, and the National Association of Black Journalists. She earned a Bachelor's in African American studies and journalism-visual communications-multimedia from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned a place on the dean's list, The Order of the Golden Fleece, and The Order of the Old Well.
