About Brian Clark


CLARK, BRIAN is online news editor at The Modesto Bee, an 80,000-circulation newspaper in the Northern San Joaquin Valley in central California. In overseeing modbee.com, he creates content through reporting and use of multimedia, works with reporters, editors and the site’s technical team on special reports, updates the site throughout the day and manages a staff of three. A native of Berkeley, he graduated with a journalism degree from San Diego State University in 1986. After sports positions in Turlock and Las Vegas, he was hired in Modesto in 1990, and has held various management jobs in sports and news before being hired in his current position in August 2008. He enjoys time with his family, being active and listening to music.
