About Beth Livermore

LIVERMORE, BETH is a freelance writer and photographer. Her work has been published by dozens of national magazines from Astronomy to Smithsonian. Her specialties include science and travel. She is the recipient of several national honors, including a year-long Knight Science Journalism Fellowship, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a trip to Antarctica, with the National Science Foundation. She currently teaches writing at Rutgers University and Fairleigh Dickinson University, both in New Jersey. For fun she breeds goats and raises kids (of the human kind).
