MUÑOZ-ACEBES, CÉSAR is a Washington correspondent for EFE News Services, the largest Spanish-language newswire in the world. He covers mostly economics, but also writes about Guantánamo and US-Latin American relations. In addition, he is the reporter who has written more about ants and butterflies in EFE´s Washington office. He is a native of Spain and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in media studies from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, where he received a full scholarship. He also holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies. He has worked as a producer for CNN International in New York City and as a project director for Verbo Filmes in Brazil. He was also a Michael Bloomberg Fellow at Human Rights Watch. He likes rock climbing when he does not fall and hiking when it does not rain.
