About Dalila Paul

PAUL, DALILA-JOHARI is the deputy business editor in charge of production at The Star-Ledger, New Jersey’s largest newspaper. Her responsibilities include planning the layout and design, as well as copy editing, for the daily and Sunday Business sections. She also writes profiles for the paper’s Sunday Features section and the magazine insert, Inside Jersey. Paul was born and raised in New York City and graduated with a degree in political science and journalism from Rutgers University. Her first job was at FOX’s New York affiliate. She soon switched to print, where she became a copy editor at Newsday. A year later, she moved to Connecticut for a 3-year stint at the Hartford Courant, where she was a copy editor and a writer for the Metro section. She’s been at The Star-Ledger since 2005. Paul is a former fitness instructor and a novice belly dancer. She also writes fiction.
