CROWE, DEBORAH is Web editor and health care/biotech industry reporter for the Los Angeles Business Journal, a 19,000-circulation business weekly covering Los Angeles County. Before joining the Business Journal in 2005 as a reporter, she covered a variety of business beats for the Ventura County Star. A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Crowe earlier reported on business, government and education for newspapers in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
