About David Grimm
David Grimm is the editor of ScienceNOW, Science Magazine's daily online news site. He is responsible for the content of the site and edits the three stories on average that appear on the site each day. ScienceNOW covers breaking research and science policy news, and its stories are geared for a general audience. Grimm is a native of Southern California and received his PhD in genetics in 2004 from Yale University, where he helped found two campus magazines. He has been at Science for over four years, and he occasionally writes for the magazine. Grimm's writing has also appeared in U.S. News and World Report and the Financial Times. His hobbies include travel, SCUBA diving, writing short stories, and learning guitar.
