About Don Smith

DON SMITH is business editor at the Seattle (WA) Post-Intelligencer. In addition, he is leading an effort to develop "Web towns" on the newspaper's web site. Smith has also served as city editor and assistant city editor in the 12 years he has been with the Post-Intelligencer. He also has served in various editorial positions at The Dallas (TX) Morning News, the Valley Daily News in Kent, WA, and The Pullman (WA) Herald. Smith graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Idaho.
