About Erin Tracy

TRACY, ERIN is a general assignment reporter at the Modesto Bee, a daily metropolitan newspaper with a 70,000-circulation. Her coverage centers primarily on crime throughout the region and politics for the City of Ceres. She writes for the print and online edition, as well as shoots and edits video packages for modbee.com. Tracy graduated from Humboldt State University in 2005 with a degree in broadcast journalism and worked in broadcast for several years before making the transition to print in 2007. She has interned and worked professionally in television and radio and her first job in print was as the business reporter for the Eureka Times-Standard. She grew up in Davis and moved to Modesto for a job at the Bee four months ago.
