About Emily Roach

ROACH, EMILY is the multimedia editor at The Palm Beach Post, a news organization that reaches more than 650,000 people in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast area each week. She edits breaking news video, manages the online local news page online and helps plan targeted web pages for news coverage such as elections, all relatively new roles after years of editing and reporting stories on local government, crime and other issues of local interest. Roach is a Florida girl and a University of Florida Gator. She started full-time journalism work in the Tampa Bay area and has traveled the state from Key West to Pensacola during her career so far, with a stop in Myrtle Beach, SC. When she gets away from the computer, she's working to make her yard more drought tolerant, her diet healthier and keep a couple of book stores in business.
