GIRATIKANON, TOM is a newsroom developer at The Boston Globe. He builds news applications and data visualizations, covering topics from political donations to World Series winners. He also helps maintain boston.com's video players and other multimedia tools. Born in Edmonds, Wash., Tom graduated from the Medill School of Journalism, and has interned at The Kitsap Sun, The Santa Rosa Press Democrat, and the Naples Daily News.

Was accepted for Dec 12-17 2010 Interactive Census Workshop.
