Liz Weeker is a freelance writer at NBC Bay Area News in San Jose. Her responsibilities include writing for the evening broadcasts. She also shoots packages and writes for the NBC Bay Area website. Weeker graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in communication and a degree in political science. She worked at The Santa Clara newspaper as assistant managing editor and news editor. She enjoys reading, cooking and traveling.
