Fabiano is a native of New Jersey and graduated with a degree in journalism from Rutgers University. Her first newspaper job was at The Star-Ledger, where she worked as an editorial clerk and later a reporting intern. Before joining The Record in 2006, she worked at the Courier News, a Gannett newspaper in central New Jersey, for four years. She enjoys reading, photography, foreign movies and planning new adventures. She is an avid snowboarder during the winter, but is relatively lazy during warmer months.
