About Jessica Goldfin

GOLDFIN, JESSICA is a journalism program associate at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. There she monitors and evaluates the journalism grant portfolio, assists with grant development and has a rocking good time. She joined the foundation as an intern in June 2007, and was hired as a permanent staff member in January 2008. Before that, she interned in the publications department at the Art Institute of Chicago. She graduated from Florida State University in December 2005 with degrees in Art History and Classical Civilizations and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Miami. Jessica is an ancient history geek and has excavated in Chianti, Italy and Petra, Jordan. She also enjoys reading, baking and hiking, and is currently training to "run" a half-marathon in August to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
