About Chip Grabow
From 1994 to 2009, Chip produced programming for National Public Radio in Washington and in Los Angeles. He most recently was the Senior Producer of Day to Day, which NPR cancelled for budgetary reasons in March, 2009.
Chip’s been honored with a variety of broadcast journalism awards including a George Foster Peabody Institutional Award for his work on NPR’s flagship morning newsmagazine, “Morning Edition.”
Prior to his NPR production, he worked as a producer for Monitor Radio, the radio outlet of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Christian Science Monitor. He won a New York International Radio Festival award for Best Radio Feature in 1993.
Chip started Storyecho Media in 2009 as a way to apply his storytelling expertise to video production. He produces video content for businesses and private clients seeking quality content for their websites. Chip is an Apple Certified Pro in both Final Cut Pro and Motion 4.

The short incorporates the still photography of Mark Katzman, video footage from his partner, Scott Ferguson, both of the St. Louis-based commercial studio, FKPhoto. Chip recorded the interview with Farley during the photo shoot at various sites in St. Louis in September 2009.
