About Rick Hancock
RICK HANCOCK is the chief political reporter and an anchor with Fox 61, WTIC-TV news in Harford, CT, where he produces daily political reports and has gained extensive experience covering national and local campaigns. He also serves as host/co-host of the new public affairs show "Beyond the Headlines," and has worked as a weekend anchor and written and produced packages for the nightly newscast. Prior to that, Rick was an anchor and reporter for WHP-TV, Channel 21, Harrisburg, PA; a freelance reporter for WBAL-TV, Channel 11 in Baltimore, MD; and a freelance reporter for WRC-TV, Channel 4, in Washington, DC. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Howard University. Rick is already working in a converged news environment. His television team works closely with state's largest newspaper The Harford Courant, as well as the weekly, Advocate.
