About Craig Gima

GIMA, CRAIG is an assistant city editor and reporter at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. He edits the Sunday local news section and reports on higher education, the census, and finds local news stories in other countries. Craig has reported from American Samoa, Bhutan, Burma, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. He started in television at KCRA in Sacramento, KPIX in San Francisco and KHON in Honolulu before making the transition into print 11 years ago. He's won awards for multi-media reporting but still doesn't know what he's doing.
