MONTGOMERY, JAMES is an assistant editor at the Financial Times and the editor of FT.com, its website. The Financial Times is an international business newspaper, based in London and published at 23 sites around the world, with an editorial staff of 450 and a global circulation of about 450,000. FT.com has 60 million page views a month and 6.7 million unique users. Prior to joining FT.com in May 2006, Montgomery was the FT’s US news editor, based in New York. He has been at the FT for 11 years, during which time he has also been analysis editor, deputy op-ed page editor and a news and features sub-editor. Montgomery lives in Greenwich, London. He enjoys reading, theater, cinema and London life.
