Multimedia and Technology Training At the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism
KAY JARVIS is news editor at The Denver (CO) Post, where she oversees nearly 40 editors and designers for all news sections with the exception of sports and opinion. Prior to her current position she was the paper's assistant news editor and copy editor, respectively. Before joining The Post in 1992, she spent four years at The Austin (TX) American-Statesman, where she moved from the copy desk to the wire desk and then to A1 design. She also spent a year as copy editor/designer at The Birmingham (AL) Post Herald. Jarvis is a member of the Society of Newspaper Design and the American Copy Editors Society. She has a Bachelor's degree in agricultural journalism from Texas A&M University.
