About Justice Hill
HILL, JUSTICE is an editor for CBSsports.com and its Rapid Reports. His duties include managing a team of seven NFL correspondents as he continues to keep his hands in the digital side of daily journalism. His background, however, is steeped in print. He worked as a sports editor at two dailies (Fort Wayne Journal Gazette and The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) and as an assistant sports editor at The Seattle Times. He left The Times in 2001 to join MLB.com, a startup website, as a senior writer. While there, he became the intern coordinator and recruiter. He stayed with MLB.com until December 2008 -- a victim of a bad economy, of course. He freelanced for the next 14 months or so before joining CBSsports.com in April. Hill has a master's in Public Affairs Reporting and has taught journalism as a tenure-track professor at Ohio University. Despite his sports background, he is a political junkie and has a keen interest in the educational system in America. He is an active member of NABJ and its Sports Task Force, and he is also a member of SPJ and SABR.
