About Jeremy Smith
SMITH, JEREMY ADAM is the web editor for the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center and the author or co-editor of four books. In 2010-11, he was a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University. In 2009, he co-founded Shareable.net, which explores how new technology is enabling new ways of sharing information and resources. As deputy director of the Independent Press Association from 2000 to 2005, he helped launch the Independent Press Development Fund; a network of ethnic newspapers; a paper buying co-op; and many technical assistance services. He lives in San Francisco.
