About Kelly Jordan

JORDAN, KELLY has been the assistant picture editor for news and business at The Florida Times-Union, in Jacksonville, FL since November, 2004, overseeing the daily visual report for those sections and coordinating coverage for all of our project oriented work. In addition to her duties as assistant picture editor, she has been working on training the staff of ten photographers to gather audio and create audio slideshows for jacksonville.com. She is in the process of working with jacksonville.com on a training and production schedule for moving the staff into video. She previously worked as a staff photojournalist and weekend picture editor at The Daytona Beach News-Journal in Daytona Beach, FL from 1991 to 2004. She is a native of Orlando, and a graduate of the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies and the University of Central Florida with photography degrees. She and her husband enjoy their German Shorthaired Pointer, Levi, their three cats and cycling.
