About Kristin Spack

Kristin Spack's avatar image SPACK, KRISTIN began working at KSKA - Anchorage FM 91.1 two weeks after arriving in Alaska and hiking the iconic Crow Creek Pass trail. Her experience in public broadcasting began at WGBH Boston where she spent summers as a researcher and website writer for the TV documentary series, “American Experience.” Interests in international affairs eventually lead her to MHz Networks in the Washington, DC area where she interviewed people for a program called, Worldview. When Spack started at KSKA, she hosted daytime programs and “All Things Considered” on Monday nights. Today she is the producer of “Addressing Alaskans”, a local program on KSKA featuring local lectures and forums recorded in Southcentral Alaska. She also engineers radio shows for and edits the website alaskapublic.org. Spack was born and raised in Attleboro, MA and graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans.
