About Laura Bly

BLY, LAURA is a leisure travel reporter at USA Today, a beat she's been covering for three decades. Laura is a native of Madison, WI, where she earned a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin. Her previous jobs include travel special projects editor for the Los Angeles Times, travel editor for the Orange County Register, syndicated consumer columnist for Universal Press Syndicate’s Primary Color and travel editor for the Arlington Heights Daily Herald. She enjoys sailing, biking and knitting scarves easy enough to finish on a cross-country flight - and still asks for a window seat.
