About Lesley Clark
CLARK, LESLEY is the national correspondent for McClatchy Newspapers' Miami Herald and Bradenton Herald. Based in Washington, D.C., she covers Congress, the White House and federal agencies. Originally from Massachusetts, she started working at The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, MA after graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She worked at newspapers in Connecticut and Florida before joining the Miami Herald's state Capitol bureau in 1999. She's also covered politics for the Herald from Miami and arrived in D.C. in 2006.
