ARTHUR, LISA is a staff writer and multimedia coordinator/metro for The Miami Herald. In her multimedia role, she helps metro reporters conceive and execute multimedia elements for their stories and projects. She then coordinates with all involved departments to deliver the story and its elements across the Herald's many platforms, including video, radio, interactive and web. She does some production work as part of the job including regularly editing audio and producing Soundslides. She is an enterprise reporter who has recently focused on coverage of South Florida's affordable housing crisis, gentrification and the Census and demographics. She has been at the Herald since 1993. She did graduate work at the Missouri School of Journalism and swears SOMEDAY she really will wrap up those final four credits and get the master's. She enjoys listening to and playing music, photography and camping.
