PETERS, LAMONICA is the executive producer for The Hutchinson Report Newsmaker Hour, a national radio broadcast airing each Saturday on KPFK 90.7 FM Los Angeles. It’s hosted by Earl Ofari Hutchinson, political analyst & national columnist. Her responsibilities include directing the program, coordinating guests for the show, recording & editing promos, producing & reporting “The Peters Poll” – a segment she created to connect with listeners via social networking sites. Peters is a native of Missouri but was raised in Los Angeles where she attended UCLA and graduated with a degree in Communications. In 2010, she was appointed President of the UCLA Black Alumni Association. She is also a community contributor for Intersections: The South L.A. Report, a community-based online news source for South Los Angeles residents, managed by the USC Annenberg School of Communications. She enjoys fun in the sun, cheering for the Lakers, traveling & trips to the spa.
