About Mario Sevilla

Mario Sevilla is in his second year as a web producer and entertainment blogger at www.mercurynews.com, the San Francisco Bay Area’s leading local newspaper Web site. His responsibilities include web programming, editorial site production and maintenance, planning and implementation of online projects and multimedia packages, and writer on the popular Arts and Entertainment Interactive blog. His role as editor-in-chief at Skyline College allowed for many opportunities outside of school as a writer, photographer, graphic designer, web developer and entrepreneur – this experience led to his first startup: Arthouse Media. He continued to operate his small advertising boutique while working at San Mateo County Times. As a special projects manager, Sevilla was publisher and writer of the Times’ restaurant section and Magazine, ‘Dining on the Peninsula.’ He enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and going to zoos and theme parks with his family. He also enjoys photography, videography, sports, cycling, playing the guitar and reading about all things technology.
