About Crystal Marshall

CRYSTAL MARSHALL is the host and producer of a national radio program, “Rise, Africa Rise!’ at WEFT Community Radio in Champaign, IL. She has held a variety of production and reporting positions at a number of radio and public television stations in Illinois. She also writes for the local alternative press in Champaign. Before working in radio and television, Marshall was a high school Spanish teacher. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching of Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the same.
