About Megan Mckee
MCKEE, MEGAN is a correspondent for the Boston Globe’s online hyperlocal effort called Your Town. She covers four communities, two with populations of about 60,000 people. She’s been a regular print contributor to the Globe for the past two years, and has written extensively about local politics, environmental issues, and general interest topics. McKee is a 2008 graduate of Northeastern University’s undergraduate journalism program, during which she worked at the Globe and the Patriot Ledger. Besides expanding her web skills, she wants to continue practicing longer-form journalism. She wrote a chapter for the recently-published book “Faith, Politics and Press in Our Perilous Times,” edited by Stephen Burgard. She enjoys backpacking in Vermont, yoga, road trips, and great music. She's married with a 3-year-old son.
