About Ginger Miles
GINGER MILES is an independent journalist who specializes in producing features, profiles and documentaries aired on National Public Radio. In addition, she has produced profiles for permanent collections at the Smithsonian and the National Museum of American Indian. Miles has won several awards for her work, including a Katey Award from the Dallas Morning News, a Clarion Award and a Peabody nomination. She has a B.F.A. in theater/broadcasting from Southern Methodist University and an M.A. in communications from Fordham University.
