About Dan Mitchell
DAN MITCHELL is online producer/editor for National Public Radio, where he is helping transform NPR's web site from mostly a storage medium for audio archives to a real publishing enterprise, expanding upon radio journalism with multimedia elements. Before joining NPR, Mitchell was a freelance journalist and wrote for Business 2.0 and Smart Business (formerly PC Computing) as well as several web sites. He also has been an associate editor at CNET News.com, staff writer at Red Herring, and a writer and editor for Wired Digital. Mitchell has a Bachelor's degree in economics from Illinois State University.
