About Maria Ines Zamudio
Maria Ines Zamudio is a bilingual reporter based in Los Angeles. Maria has over three years of experience working for daily newspapers, where she has covered education, city government and crime. Maria is learning how to become an effective multimedia journalist. Last year, she learned how to shot and edit video. Thanks to the Education Writers Association training, Maria learned how to use computer-assisted reporting and she can now build databases. Later this moth, Maria will learn how to report and produce stories for radio, thanks to a workshop hosted by NPR.
