About Jefferson Morley
JEFFERSON MORLEY has been the world editor for washingtonpost.com since January 2000. During his first year, traffic on the site increased by 50 percent as the site expanded its interactive capacity, and developed regular video/audio news stories on international themes. Morley first joined the Washington Post in 1992 as assistant editor of the Outlook section, six years later he became a reporter for the Metro section. He also has been a columnist for The New York Observer, and a Washington correspondent for Spin magazine and The Nation. Morley has a B.A. in American History from Yale College and is proficient in Spanish.
