PITTMAN, MARILYN is a broadcast veteran. Heading to radio right out of theatre and journalism, she has been a talk show host, commentator, anchor, writer, and reporter. Since 1989, she has been the leading voice coach for NPR stations. A guest lecturer in the Graduate School of Journalism’s radio classes for more than 15 years and the new media classes for more than five, her work in the Knight sessions has led to coaching newspaper and other print people in their online storytelling. Since 1994, she's been a speaker trainer for CEO's and VP's at top Silicon Valley companies. Moving to San Francisco in 1985 to become a stand-up comic, which she still is, her comedy skills are evident in her workshop presentations. She's also back on the air herself, hosting a weekly interview show, "Out In The Bay" on KALW, 91.7. Contact: marilyn@marilynpittman.com
