About Lindsey Nair
NAIR, LINDSEY has covered federal courts for The Roanoke Times in Roanoke, VA for a year and a half. Prior to that, she covered the day police beat, night cops and was an editorial assistant. But her career at the newspaper really began when she landed a job as a customer service representative the month after she graduated from Roanoke College in 1998. Most recently, she has covered the federal indictment of a local sheriff and 12 of his men as well as the trials and tribulations of two local television weathermen who became addicted to heroin. In addition, Nair has been hosting Timescast, the paper's Webcast, once a week since its inception one year ago. Her dream is to be proficient at narrative writing, investigative reporting and multimedia all at the same time.
